}} Maxime "Max" Omer Mathieu Decugis or Décugis ((:maksim dɔkyʒiz/dekyʒiz); 24 September 1882 – 6 September 1978) was a male tennis player from France who held the French Championships/French Open record of winning the tournament eight times (a French club members only tournament before 1925), a feat that has been surpassed by Rafael Nadal in 2014.
